Accident while hunting pigeon; case of attempt to murder against relative
On Monday, a student got a bullet from a foreign air gun in her chest in the Berasia area of Bhopal Rural. The girl, who is a third-year BBA student, had gone to the terrace to pick up clothes. During this time, a young man living nearby tried to shoot a pigeon with an air gun, but due to missing the target, the shrapnel hit the student. The shrapnel passed through the chest, although his condition is said to be critical. After the incident, the student has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhopal. Police have registered a case of attempt to murder and started searching for the accused. According to Berasia police station in-charge Arun Sharma, the incident took place around 5.30 pm on Monday evening, when the student had gone to the terrace to take off the clothes that were drying.
Shrapnel fired from foreign air gun, condition of student critical
In Berasia area, a student suffered serious injuries after being hit by shrapnel from a foreign air gun. In the incident, the shrapnel fired from the air gun sank beneath Adiba's heart and went out behind her. The student, bleeding profusely, reached the stairs and called out to her parents. When the family reached the terrace, they were horrified to see his condition and immediately took him to the hospital in Bhopal.
One or two dead pigeons were also found at the incident site, due to which it is being suspected that a person in the neighborhood was targeting the pigeons with an air gun, and after missing the target, the shrapnel hit the student. Police has started the investigations in the case.

Adeeba was operated on on Tuesday after she was hit by shrapnel from an airgun in Berasia area. According to relatives, Adeeba is a third year BBA student and is the second among two sisters. Her elder sister is married. Adeeba's condition is now said to be fine after the operation. Doctors said that the shrapnel had hit just below the heart, and if it had been a little higher, the situation could have been serious.

Adiba told after the incident that the bullet was fired from the roof of Tahir Bhai, who lives in the neighbourhood. Although, she did not see anyone, but the bullet was fired from him. Adeeba told that she had gone to the terrace in the evening to take out the washed clothes, when suddenly she heard a bang and started feeling a severe burning sensation in her chest. She felt that now she would never be able to get up, but she gathered courage and crawled to the stairs. From there he called out to his mother, and then mother and father took him to the hospital.
Uncle was named as accused
Police investigation revealed that the girl's cousin Shabu, who lives in the neighbourhood, had fired the pellets. Therefore, the police have named him on Wednesday and started the search. After the arrest, it will become clear whether the fire was done knowingly or unknowingly. Meanwhile, the condition of the girl student admitted in the hospital is stable.
