Berasia :- Bharatiya Kisan Sangh staged a sit-in protest in front of the tehsil office on Thursday to resolve the 12-point demands of the farmers and handed over a memorandum to SDM Berasia Ashutosh Sharma in the name of the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav. And warned of agitation in case the demands are not resolved soon.
Demands from government are as follows
In this memorandum, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has demanded that the announcement of purchasing wheat at Rs 2700 per quintal in the BJP's manifesto should be fulfilled. Also, the production of wheat in Bhopal district should be reduced to 25 quintals per acre. Paddy in the state is 4 One thousand rupees a quintal should be bought. Bharatiya Kisan Sangh had launched a public movement regarding soybean in September. At that time, the Chief Minister had promised to purchase soybean at Rs 6000 per quintal. But did not fulfill it. Black marketing of fertilizers should be stopped and fertilizers should be made available to farmers as per their needs. Resai project should be connected to Samrat Ashok Sagar Dam via Berasia and Tem project should be connected to Jam Meri for irrigation. Electricity of agricultural pump should be given for 10 hours. Dilapidated wires and poles should be replaced. Weighing in mandis with flat hooks. It should be started. The tap water scheme seems to be dying in Bhopal district. It should be started soon. Residential land Khasra number 385 in village Sagouni has been transferred to the name of a person. This should be cancelled.
