Bhopal - Four-year-old innocent girl was crushed by a truck on Berasia Road: She was sitting on a bike with her father on the roadside, the accused driver absconding.

 On Tuesday night, in Ratua on Bhopal-Berasia road, a truck hit a father and an innocent girl sitting on a bike on the roadside. The girl died in the accident. While the father's condition remains critical. The family was returning to Berasia after celebrating Eid from the house of a relative living in Sehore. At the time of the incident the family had stopped at the dhaba to drink tea and water.

The family had gone to Sehore to celebrate Eid

Aamna Ali (4), daughter of Syed Zahid Ali, was a resident of Sherpura, Berasia. In the same year, his family admitted him to nursery class. The deceased's uncle Zoeb said that his father runs a garment shop in Berasia. On the occasion of Eid, Zahid took his wife and daughter to the house of his sister living in Sehore.

The family had reached there on Tuesday morning by bike and were returning to Berasia at night.

The family had stopped to drink tea

The family stopped at a dhaba in Ratua located in Gunga police station area to drink tea and water. The father and daughter remained seated on the bike at the dhaba on the highway. While the girl's mother was drinking water after getting down from the bike. Then a truck coming from Berasia side hit the father and daughter sitting on a bike on the roadside. The father was seriously injured in the accident. His treatment is underway. Although the daughter died on the spot. Police have started searching for the accused driver. The body is being taken to the mortuary of Hamidia Hospital on Wednesday morning.
